Those are so pretty! But they forgot foxglove (can irritate and even stop the heart).

We have so many crabapples around. Beautiful in the spring, but a pain in the fall.

I dunno if they're "flowers", but I love pussywillows......

They are flowers.

some think those are a kind of seed, but they are fuzzy flowers. I think they are the first to bloom.

Mine are a type of weed, sorry, I don't know the name.

they have a deep purple petal, that darkens closer to the center with tiny yellow stems sticking out. The body and leaves look like green staind purple

Everything except Acacia.

But I'm especially fond of daffodils. The kids at the private school down the hill from me adopted a stretch of land nearby and planted tons of daffodil bulbs (the rest of the year they tend it with other flowering things). It's lovely.

Foxglove is what they make digitoxin from.. Yep.

down here the azeala is always the first spring flower. short lived but beautiful.

Not exactly Spring, but some Roses from the dozen or so rose bushes around the house.

This was August last year I think.....

I used to live in Charleston MO. Every year we had The Dog Wood Azeala Festival.

Sadly, the first good rain and all the pettles were on the ground.
