That is beautiful Madeline. I am going with "the first ones" as my answer to the OP. lol. Actually tulips have often been a fave...just wish they had a sweet fragrance.

Totally agree with that one, Madeline. And of the many varieties of lilacs, only one has the sweetest and deepest fragrance but I can't recall which one...lol.

We get zillions of wild ones if there has been enough rain during the winter----A sure sign that warm weather is back. Hyacinths just smell great.
