Never heard this, thanks. I consider it to be more of an old-style rockabilly rocker, while "Birthday" has a more modern "heavy metally" feel. IMO, of course.

It's on the Anthology collection. Recorded but never released, certainly good enough but presumably not released because they didn't write it* and were launching themselves as songwriters at the time.

-- which before the Beatles was rarely ever done; for the most part one entity wrote the song and another performed it. Performing your own material is common now but the Beatles were who made that happen.


*Plus, this song has no ending

"Birthday" is a bit too musically façile for my taste. But I like this parody ---
