EV sales have Doubled. Is a ‘Tidal Wave’ coming?

Bwaahhhaaaaa...I didnt vote for Joe Biden, the clown of the world. Those that voted for him are even dumber than Joe because they didnt look back at Joe's history. But alas a progressive will never admit that they made a mistake.

Why did he have to apologize, for having the most people working in the history of the US? Oh having low gasoline prices so even the poor could afford extra money? Wow, you really are such a pitiful petulant progressive who would gladly bite your nose off just to spite your face...Well done, now the poor must suffer even more because of who you voted for.

You're a partisan Hack spewing in the Environment section OFF TOPIC.
This is not Biden/Trump.
Get lost Troll.
Go back to politics where just an opinion counts.
I will not indulge your BS any longer.

Trump benefited from the policies that President Obama put into place. What his acompliments truly are is lying about the Covid virus, and causing the unecessary deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans. The the criminal tried a multi-pronged coup to overturn a legal election. He should suffer the most extreme penalty for his treason. Anyone that still supports him is equally guilty of treason.

So your dumb ass has given up on lying about EV's, and now you turn to lying about politics. However, that will not change the fact that EV's are the future, and ICE vehicles will soon be relegated to the same fate as the horse and buggy.

By God, you are correct. By 2025 the EV's will cost less, perform better, have greater range, cost less for maintenance and fuel, and continue to have far greater resale value than ICE vehicles. By 2030, the only resale value ICE vehicles will have is for scrap.
I predict prices won't move, or possibly go up. I predict those who can't charge at home, still won't be able to charge at home. Resale value of anything is down to what someone is willing to pay. When all subsidies stop and driving tax appears, they won't be as cheap to run as you dream. Just before 2030, my new ICE vehicle will be delivered, then I can watch my neighbours struggle and curse.

When an EV is produced without the dreadful battery, I would buy one, either Hydrogen or Supercapacitors.

Contrary to what you read here by some backwards RW propagandists.

""Electric vehicle sales are Booming in the U.S., with purchases nearly Doubling over a year ago.
That trend is chipping away at the long-held narrative that drivers aren’t ready for electric cars, and it’s leading some analysts to recalibrate their predictions.

“We used to have a lot of very definitive forecasts,” said Tyson Jominy, vice president of data and analytics at J.D. Power, a global consumer intelligence company based in Michigan. “We’ve had to kind of blow those up because the rate of adoption is going much Quicker.”

Last year, electric vehicles accounted for about 2% of all car sales. This summer, that number jumped to nearly 5% of light-duty vehicles like SUVs and sedans and more than 20% of all passenger vehicles sales, according to recent data

“EV sales are pretty much going Gangbusters,” said Ryan Gallentine, a policy director at Advanced Energy Economy. “You see automakers moving to start building EV-only assembly plants and announcing these new battery manufacturing facilities — to me that says they’re betting their business on EVs.”

This week, Ford Motor Co. and SK Innovation announced plans to spend $11.4 billion on new production sites in Tennessee and Kentucky to build EVs and the batteries that power them. The company, along with General Motors Co., Stellantis and others, anticipates that 40% to 50% of car sales will be electric by 2030, which is in line with the Biden administration’s plan...."

Supply chain interruptions have destroyed the ICE car manufacturing...

And instead of selling 2 cars they sold 5 because there aren't any others to buy.

And they call this a win?
The wave of the future? Then why has petroleum gone up over 15% since January 1 ?

It's called twisting, go with the big numbers. They think 100% increase is impressive because 3 more vehicles isn't.

You never get actual numbers to actual EV numbers, just large EV percentages.

Real dumb fuck comments. In Europe, 2021, the Tesla 3 was the best selling single model. Not only the first time an EV took that title, but the first time a non-European vehicle took it. And Tesla has sold every vehicle it has ever produced for the American market. EV's are the future, and as the battery supplies increase, the price will come down to parity with ICE cars, and then EV's will sell far better than ICE cars because for the same price you can get a vehicle that performs better, cost less to fuel, costs less to maintain, and lasts longer.

What bullshit you spew, here are the numbers for Norway;
Overall new sales in Norway rose by 25% in 2021 to a record 176,276 cars, of which 65% were fully electric. This market share was up from 54% in 2020.Jan 5, 2022

For the UK;
190,727 units

According to the data, BEV sales in 2021 totaled 190,727 units, up 76% year on year to take a 11.6% overall market share, which was up from 6.6% in 2020.Jan 6, 2022

For the US;
The all-electric car segment in the U.S. almost doubled year-over-year during the first 10 months of 2021, reaching new all-time records.
According to the car registration data from Experian (via Automotive News), some 378,466 electric vehicles were registered from January to October 2021, which is 94% more than in 2020 at this point. That's about 2.9% of the total market, compared to 1.7% a year ago.

Interesting post calling bs. You are one of the first to get an erection over large percentage points on EV's. Me thinks I'm gonna have to look back through your posts to confirm.

As new ICE car sales will be banned from 2030, an EV is kinda Hobson's Choice, you don't have to be an Einstein to work that out. What's embarrassing, fucking retards like yourself that believe EV sales are going up because people want them. The initial boom is by the yuppie and the vanity buyer. Peasants like yourself are waiting for the stupid to buy them, their value drop out of their arse, and you grab a bargain because you're a pauper.

Batteries are both convenient and inconvenient, but on the whole in a car, shite. We had Beta Max and VHS in the UK, VHS became the triumphant winner. Batteries are Beta Max, technologies such as Hydrogen and Supercapiacitors will be the VHS. I'll buy a VHS car in the future, never a Beta Max car.

The hockey stick scam has been around for two decades

And what has changed?

3% of the population drive EV's. They built a few windmills and solar panels to now account for about 7% of the grid. Kinda laughable. Ask China what they think of the hockey stick.

The AGW knuckle draggers....like being in a football game and they are down by 7 or 8 touchdowns, kick a field goal and start spiking the ball.

Looks like another Double, or near that, coming this year.

US Electric Vehicle Sales Might Nearly Double In 2022

`

Might double? they better double or their will be a couple traditional domestic auto makers losing their ass. Commercial/fleets vehicles will lead the way in mass sales and will be the perfect testing platform for improvements. Also nothing happens until a support network in established. The three markets for electric vehicles are 1) commercial fleet vehicles, vans trucks etc., 2) Urban dwellers driving limited miles daily using public transportation for extended trips ( planes, trains, ICE automobiles) 3) small commuter vehicles. suburban rural families that use a EV or two to get back and forth to work then, have that big ICE SUV or truck to haul the family to events or drag the RV or boat.

Read this for the truth about why EVs are being manufactured and how much clean energy will NOT be available if the estimated amount of EVs comes to fruition by 2030. LOL
