EU Deploys Troops To Greenland

Of every dollar the world spends on military, 38 cents comes from a country with friendly neighbors north and south and large oceans east and west. Are we the suckers of the world or just cowards?
On the other hand, 90% of Canadians live within a hundred miles of our border, so they just might be planning an invasion. :D
They must pay the price for protection. So, we can pay for all of the agendas we argue over.

Trump said it was gonna happen.

It's not a hostile takeover, IMO. It's just, "We are here"

Thats good

The squat-to-pee euros will be a trip wire should russia ever try to occupy Greenland

which meets America’s needs

Perhaps this is exactly what President Trump wanted to happen considering how serious the threat could be if Russia and China were to join against the USA and against NATO?

Notice that these countries did not deploy until America said they were interested in Greenland. Russia and China have been eyeing Greenland as a strategic location for years and nothing from the EU. Answers once again that while the USA has been sending money, troops and aid to all these countries forever and a day, where would they be if America ever needed their help.

The USA is a NATO allie, the biggest and most important one.

Note there was no mention of benefiting any American security. Let these countries stroke off; do they really think sending a couple dozen troops there would really deter any country, the USA, Russia or China, from just walking right in there and take the whole place over? :auiqs.jpg:

It's definitely a message, the wrong message.

Ya think?

I actually do suspect that President Trump knows how to use the BigMedia, against itself in allied nations, so that the citizens begin to develop something like their own version of MAGA, but of course for the moment, President Trump appears to be the proverbial bad guy?

It is better to have us Canadians angry at President Trump than to have us to continue to be so complacent as we were while Justin was P. M?

"Canada tells us of Covid21 -the plan now what is coming"

It's definitely a message, the wrong message.

Yep, and that message is: If Trump is cutting off supporting our million million global initiatives and programs as they've done for ages, rather than thank the USA for generations of selfless help, they are now not going to lift a finger in our interests.

Fair weather friends. Blackmail. Bribery.

Once again we see democrats more allied with european interests than American.

I've always felt that push come to shove and we ever needed the EU for anything, they would be like smoke. They only know or like us when we are stuffing cash in their pockets.

Fuggem.

The US has had an AF/Space Force base in Greenland for decades. LOL and its a whole bunch more than 34 guys on a two day excursion. This article and premise is nothing but a distraction.
Breaking: 34 NATO forces ask U.S. forces where the hottest Greenland chicks hang out...U.S. forces roll their eyes and shake their heads.

You want to go to war with NATO?
Watching foreign commentary, the good news is that the world is awake now. They're not in that "WTF, is this real?" confusion that they've been living under (the same one we went through). They know what we are, they don't like it, but they're moving on as quickly as they can.

One shot fired by an American there and it's a all new world. I realize that's the plan, but they clearly don't understand what it really means from a macro perspective. As usual.

Funny how they can 'deploy' troops in opposition to the US, but can't manage to send any when/where actually needed. It's like they've forgotten that the US finances most of their current defenses and saved their asses twice in the last two world wars.
Course you did. You do know the Battle of Britain was over before the US finally decided to get involved. And I'm sure Europe thanks the US for its help. Note, I don't say 'thank you for your help' , because like a lot of right wing loons you think you had something to do with those events those 80 years ago. You had NOTHING to do with it so please don't try and ride on the coat tails of your ancestors.

They're demonstrating over and over and over that they have zero (0) grasp of history, and European history particularly.

I don't know how to communicate with someone who is in that condition.

Embarrassing.

Our allies don't trust us and I don't blame them.
