Yet the price for a full turkey dinner for 10 people is down 10% and gas dropped 13% since April. Who knows how long the bird flu will keep the price of eggs up but that will fall too in time. How long before trump tries to take credit for that?

It really doesn't matter. What does matter is Trump is the president for the next 4 years. That's something we can all be grateful for this Thanksgiving.

I got a story to tell on 'Bird Flu'.

For years we have sold our corn...on contract.....to a huge egg producer, a major supplier to chain fast-food restaurants that serve morning egg sandwiches.

Anyway they had millions....millions!!.....of layers die.

And I watched them dig long narrow parallel ditches the length of what looks to me like an 80 acre crop-field. Dozens of ditches maybe 300+ hundred yards long each.

They were for Bird Flu victims.
Chicken victims.
Millions of 'em.
Simply couldn't burn that many.

Here's a bit of farm lore, country-sly wisdom: Dead layers don't lay.
Which means less eggs. Lot less eggs.
Which means, hold for it, demand-meets-less-supply.
Which means, prices go exactly where y'all think they would.
