I can't remember the last time we started wars to benefit Canada or exempt any of those countries' lobbyists from having to report a
This entails a number of assumptions.
I listen to a broad array of news sources online, European, Asian news, podcasts especially.
I can enjoy listening to a "White Monkey" from China (a derogatory term to describe foreigners who make cash by their obedience to CCP requirements, often doing humiliating jobs even), or, a strong anticommunist podcast. I listen, absorb, often laugh at the absurdity of someone pushing an agenda. That is how I roll nowadays.
Listen and watch all and you can find and ascertain what appears most accurately and factual to you based on the varying opinions.
There is clearly a large degree of vitriol towards Israel of late, this I have noticed. This is why I know how important it is to deal with domestic issues or citizens will feel betrayed (this is true for all Western nations).
I listen to Tucker Carlson as he has always gone against the grain, I am not easy to sway in my wisdom so when he expresses an opinion I take it with a grain of salt. I just enjoy the discussion and debate, he brings on interesting people.
Cenk or however you spell his name from The Young Turks is most entertaining with his over the top, almost WWE style anger. It is really difficult for me to get through an entire 10-15 clip with him as he gets too emotional. I have to laugh, even if the topic is serious because he gets so emotional. Yet, I give them some views.
I listen to a couple of podcasters from Israel and/or with a Judaism, pro-Israel perspective. They are pretty good and not as well known but informative. If the delve into a hatefest for Muslims, I have to cut that episode short. I am trying to always avoid a dark heart and too much negativity towards any religion just isn't beneficial, otherwise, I enjoy their different perspectives.
The point I am making is that nothing is as it seems and one can easily be swayed off course if they live in an echo chamber, something I consciously decided to avoid altogether. So, listen to everything, accept only what is useful because much of what we see and hear is just dogma in one form or another, reject what is useless or runs contrary to our moral core.
Hold politicians accountable for policies but unless the real changes occur (such as SAVE Act), the exhausting effort applied with limited reward is just not worth it.
