Egg Shortages and Prices Sky Rocket Just Before Thanksgiving

Mine is half white bread and half cornbread mixed, the egg or two in the dressing is after you put it all together with the sauteed , onion, celery, walnuts and green pepper, and seasoning and turkey broth, you beat a couple of eggs and loosely mix it in with the dressing after it is all put together, it will help the dressing hold together better and not just loosely crumble after cooking.....at least that is what mama said!!

Same here. Normal sliced bread doesn't have eggs in it as far as I know.

Well I originally thought so but somebody on this thread proved me wrong. Since it's been a while since we baked it I just assumed that it went along with the flour and milk etc.

Used to have NFDM and butter....(non fat dry milk) in the dough as well as sugar.

Now? Ha!
