The Inuits noticed the climate was different too. However, since they're not part of the AGWScam they said the following,

"Presently they are warning NASA that the cause of change in weather, earthquakes etc, are not due to global warming as the world thinks. They also report that

They state that the earth has shifted or “wobbled”. “Their sky has changed!”

The elders declare that the sun rises at a different position now, not where it used to previously. They also have longer daylight to hunt now, the sun is much higher than earlier, and it gets warmer much quickly.

Other elders across the north also confirmed the same thing about the sky changing when interviewed."

My opinion has always been that the axis of the Earth may have changed slightly, thus it is warmer in some areas throwing off temperature data. But you would think NASA would know that it shifted and I am not really sure they would hide the fact.

NASA: Earth’s magnetic poles are ‘switching’ with catastrophic consequences for humanity

THE Earth could be left powerless to defend against blasts of solar radiation from the Sun for up to 200 YEARS, leaving us at risk from skin cancer and worldwide electronic communication blackouts, NASA scientists have warned.

Climate Change Has Shifted the Locations of Earth's North and South Poles

Increased melting of the Greenland Ice Sheet and other ice losses worldwide have helped to move the North Pole several centimeters east each year since 200

Humans are quite an adaptable species. They can live (and do live) where it is incredibly hot, cold, dry, wet, mountainous, windy, or stormy. They even live where the ocean would be, without man-made walls to keep it out. They make islands where there previously were none, and make lakes where there used to be dry land.

People who preach the nonsense that if it gets a little warmer or the polar ice caps melt and the seas rise a few feet, it will be a catastrophe, are liars and manipulators with hidden agendas.

There is NOTHING even projected to happen with respect to AGW that mankind cannot engineer a solution to, particularly given the number of years that these changes will take. So a couple people might have to be relocated? So what? There are LOTS of people living in our very country in areas that could never naturally support human habitation (e.g., Tucson, New Orleans). And yet they do live there, and thrive.

i know i had read the great Tsunami/prior earthquake shifted our axis slightly....doesn't seem like that itty bit is what the Inuit are speaking about though...

If a shift in the axis of the earth occurred to the extent that someone would notice, there would be headlines in every astronomy journal. There was not. The effect on precision telescopes would be huge.

I have read that the north pole has "migrated" a few degrees, but the people in question don't use magnetic compasses, do they?

The earth's axis how not changed more than a few centimeters, which has zero effect on climate.

And this thread is more evidence that global warming deniers, having fallen for one stupid conspiracy theory, tend to fall for all kinds of stupid conspiracy theories.

Tell this to the 9 Florida airports with runways that had to be renamed becasue their magnetic axis changed by 1 Degree. There are many more all over the US and its been happening slowly for about 10 years now. Magnetic north and south have been changing fairly rapidly the last 30 years or so..

Earths magnetic fields are weakening just like the suns. As the 'hold' on the surface lessens, I suspect a shift should occur naturally, as we sit a top a molten mass.

Were entering the phase of very low magnetism on earth. the next 30 or so years will be interesting indeed.

There is quite a difference between the magnetic axis and the spin axis. The OP is more concerned with the spin axis. If the spin axis changed, the simplest way of telling that is to note that Polaris, the polar star will appear more off-center as the earth spins.

just cause I can.

Pole star - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Present
The closest bright star to the north celestial pole is Polaris. At magnitude 1.97 (variable), it is the brightest star in the Ursa Minor constellation (at the end of the "handle" of the "Little Dipper" asterism).[1] As of October 2012 its declination is +89°19′8″ (at epoch J2000 it was +89°15′51.2″). Therefore, it always appears due north in the sky to a precision better than one degree, and the angle it makes with respect to the true horizon (after correcting for refraction and other factors) is equal to the latitude of the observer to better than one degree. It is consequently known as Polaris (from Latin stella polaris "pole star"). It was formerly sometimes known as Cynosura, from a time before it was the pole star, from its Greek name meaning "dog's tail" (as the constellation of Ursa Minor was interpreted as a dog, not a bear, in antiquity).

A common method of locating Polaris in the sky is to follow along the line of the so-called "pointer" stars in the bowl of the Big Dipper asterism, specifically, the two stars farthest from its "handle". The arc between the pointer stars and Polaris is nearly five times greater than the arc between the pointer stars."

NASA - NASA Details Earthquake Effects on the Earth

Chao and Gross have been routinely calculating earthquakes' effects in changing the Earth's rotation in both length-of-day as well as changes in Earth's gravitational field. They also study changes in polar motion that is shifting the North Pole. The "mean North pole" was shifted by about 2.5 centimeters (1 inch) in the direction of 145º East Longitude. This shift east is continuing a long-term seismic trend identified in previous studies.

They also found the earthquake decreased the length of day by 2.68 microseconds. Physically this is like a spinning skater drawing arms closer to the body resulting in a faster spin. The quake also affected the Earth's shape. They found Earth's oblateness (flattening on the top and bulging at the equator) decreased by a small amount. It decreased about one part in 10 billion, continuing the trend of earthquakes making Earth less oblate.

To make a comparison about the mass that was shifted as a result of the earthquake, and how it affected the Earth, Chao compares it to the great Three-Gorge reservoir of China. If filled the gorge would hold 40 cubic kilometers (10 trillion gallons) of water. That shift of mass would increase the length of day by only 0.06 microseconds and make the Earth only very slightly more round in the middle and flat on the top. It would shift the pole position by about two centimeters (0.8 inch).

Now look at the paragraph in red. How does that fit you denialists stupid meme that we cannot affect the Earth?

As far as drift of the magnetic poles, the magnetic poles flip regularly, and there is no evidence that it has ever affected the life that present on earth at the time of the flip.
