And l went there. It was mostly the city centre that was bombed. The surrounding areas, including the lovely villas were still intact.

Because the German military was putting up such stiff resistance, Churchill, FDR & Stalin chose to bomb civilians to demoralize soldiers at the front and "roast refugees".
