I'm not a "trump ass licker". I never was particularly fond of trump. What I am against, is the left weaponizing the government to go after people. For over 4 years now the left has been after trump because he wouldn't show his taxes, because he is not legally required to.

I'm not afraid of what trump has in his taxes, but, I expect that if the left is going to go after him, do it legally.

There is no just cause for congress to have his taxes, we know this is just another fraudulent attempt at digging through his taxes. The left has been after them for over 4 years, without evidence or a charge, hoping they can comb through them to find something he did wrong, so they can stop him from running for office.

Also, the means in which they obtained them is not legal. Read through the law and the section regarding ways and means ability to obtain them. What is happening here is not in line with those rules.

I did Google it, and I read the relevant rule regarding ways and means requesting of tax information. What is happening now is not legal.

Most people only read to the point of "shall furnish", but they don't read the rest of the way. It goes on to say that if any personally identifiable information is to be obtained, then the request can only be made in closed executive session. This means that any information gained is subject to secrecy rules and can only be shared with members of that committee and only while in closed executive session.

The request was not made, nor were the returns obtained in that fashion, so, its illegal.
