Does anyone like gambling ??

I like Poker and craps mainly, where the house odds in the latter game can be minimized, and in the former there aren't any. With the former, there is however the risk of being teamed, so it is best to know who you're playing with, and in the higher end casinos there is an effort to screen out such schemes, so I play at the Bellagio and a couple of other casinos I trust two or three times a year before the COVID thing; haven't played since 2019, though. They're sending me new comps and free rooms and calling me again recently, so I might take them up on them this year. I do pretty well at gambling, enough to have to file W-2G's 2 out of every 3 years.

Vegas still has the best casinos; the Indian casinos are ridiculously crooked and rigged, nobody wants to spend time in Atlantic City, it's a shithole, and so is New Orleans, which is another barrio now.

I get bored with casino gambling.
I also hate losing more than I like winning.

My strategy is usually quit if I lose $50 and quit if I win $50
Once I am up $50, I will keep gambling as long as it is House money. If it gets down to $50, I walk away

So long as you look at it as entertainment and not a way to make money it can be fun.

I could be wrong, but I don't think anyone likes losing. :) :) :)

I have never once been to a casino. If I were there, would I be all over the place like everyone else? No. Why not? I once heard it said that you don't have anything to get out if you don't go jumping in to begin with. Also getting up and going out into the world alone is already a big enough gamble in my opinion.

God bless you always!!!

P.S. Where does the phrase/name "crap table" come from?
