I absolutely think Trump is fit to lead America until the end of his term.
That is not to say, however, that I don't have concerns.
He has always been a high energy, barely sleep kind of guy. Three, four hours a night of sleep is his norm. But he's 80 years old now and under constant pressure and constant scrutiny and most negative press corps in American history. There isn't even an attempt at fairness or objectivity from the mainstream media and an decade of withering attacks, some fair but most not, has taken a toll.
I voted for Trump in 2020 and 2024 because he's a fighter. I love that about him. He's not a quitter so those who are predicting he'll lose the midterms and quit are nuts.
But I'm hoping he dials back a little in the next couple of years. Trump, as much as I respect him, can be exhausting. He needs constant attention, as we know. And I'd like to see him enjoy a quiet period ...

... but if he did, the press would criticize him for that!
In a way, he can't win, no matter what he does.

Obama and Biden helped fester the situation with Iran to such a more worse development that it was long overdue for the USA, and Israel, to "cut their wings" on joining the nuclear weapons club.

I suspect Trump knows that it's highly unlikely Iran will agree to a peace deal acceptable towards USA security. Both sides are using the negotiations as a ploy to advance their positions while taking a breath, restocking munitions, and maneuvering for advantage when the next round of shooting resumes.

Only why to make a lasting deal is complete regime change in Iran which requires the extinction of the IRGC.
