Didn't Trump close the border?

Didn't we achieve 3% GDP growth?

Didn't Trump negotiate a stellar trade deal with the UK?

Didn't Trump then negotiate a BETTER than stellar trade deal with the EU?

Isn't Trump reducing the size and scope of the Federal Government?

Isn't Trump eliminating wasteful spending?

So...to answer the piss poor leftist "meme" you posted, my question is...what is President Trump doing that you opposed?

Not "much democracy" or "oh, fascism" without SOLID examples.

Tell me what exactly Trump is accomplishing that is anathema to you.

Yes, things "seemingly" have been working positively for Trump with what he set himself to do. Having said that and following what most analysts are saying (as well as what Reagan said), tariffs in the long run do more damage than what they fix. This means that everything you stated, is likely to turn ugly.

Whether it does or does not, my peeve with Trump is that he does things with a hacksaw approach and most everything he has ever done has turned sour at some point, and sour is not something that we Americans can withstand. As such, the "probabilities" are that this will turn out the same way.

Believe it or not, I HOPE that I am wrong and that I get put in a situation where I have to acknowledge my mistake and learn from it. If it helps this nation move forward, I will gladly bow to him (and all of his supporters) and take my share of criticism. Having said that, I do not believe that will happen.

On another point though, there are many things about Trump's personality and character that I totally despise as they go against everything I believe in. For that reason, I will continue to be against him on those issues, which are the fact that he has no morals, no ethics, no principles and no humanity.

That is why the sheep meme does fit him to a tee. That is who he is. He takes advantage of the poor and helpless and milks them for his benefit, and that will never change.

There would have been no Continental Army left if it wasn't for the guerillas.

And MAGA bucked every convention and elected the first non-politician in almost 100 years...then elected him again after the Establishment pulled out every stop attempting to destroy him.

If you're looking for the sheep...look no further than the people who voted for the guy who has been in government office for 50 years, and stuck with him when it was obvious to all thinking people that he was mentally deficient.

Trump is political as they come, but he fouled up the Epstein matter.

Can he "politician" himself out of disaster?

Didn't Trump **** up Epstein. Nothing else matters.

I don't know of anyone who's going to spend the time to find a small ball in the rough except in official events, caddies are trained to do exactly what he did.
I do, they are called golfers.
Obviously you have never played.

Not yet.
$750 Billion over 3 years......Not gonna happen.

While politically significant, the $750  billion energy commitment is considered by many experts to be unrealistic given current market conditions. The gap between historic EU energy imports from the U.S. and the pledge is substantial, and without binding enforcement mechanisms, it's unclear whether EU companies will meet such levels. Analysts describe the deal more as a symbolic gesture to avert higher tariffs rather than a practical roadmap for energy procurement The Wall Street Journal+3ICIS Explore+3Kpler+3Tasnim News+1NucNet+1The Wall Street JournalPOLITICO+1Tasnim News+1.

So that's not better than no commitment to purchase the Oil/LNG and nuke fuel? If 50% of this deal is fulfilled what's that in terms of an increase in purchases by the EU market for those commodities? Are you arguing that they will purchase 0? That if they fulfill this deal it would be a decrease in purchases? What makes this deal "worse" or equal to the status quo?

That's just the gravy.

The meat is a 15% tariff on imports from the EU and a ZERO percent tariff on American exports to the EU.

That's amazing!

Give me that deal from China and India and I swear I'll dance an effin jig.

Sure. But you do understand how petty and meaningless it is right? He's not cheating at the Masters. If I go down to my local course and play a round of golf and "cheat" during it, who am I cheating? We are really worried whether the POTUS cheats at golf when he's playing by himself?
First of all, who says he was playing by himself?

Second of all, this is not the first time he has cheated at a golf game

5 times Donald Trump has been accused of cheating at golf

Last but not least, if he is playing by himself, why cheat? A person that is playing by himself is trying to improve his Golf game, so getting out of a problem (sand trap, etc.) would be what you want to do. If you cheat while playing by yourself, you are cheating YOURSELF. What is the benefit to that?

Oh, and by the way, the caddie that dropped the ball did it surreptitiously. If he was doing it on purpose, why wouldn't he just place the ball at a specific location?

You really are trying to find excuses for Trump's behavior. Just like all Trump supporters have done a million times for each wrong thing Trump has done.

AI Overview

The recently announced trade deal between the US and the EU, while avoiding a worst-case scenario of higher tariffs, presents several potential downsides for the United States:

  • Increased Costs for Consumers: The 15% tariff on most EU goods, though lower than initially threatened, will likely lead to higher prices for consumers on a range of products, including cars, furniture, and pharmaceuticals.
  • Potential for Job Losses: Industries that rely on European imports, such as manufacturing and the food and beverage industry (especially wine retailers and restaurants), could face higher costs and reduced profits, potentially leading to job losses.
  • Challenges for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses: Smaller businesses reliant on export markets might struggle more than larger multinational corporations, as they may have a harder time absorbing the increased costs and navigating complex trade regulations.
  • Disruptions to Global Supply Chains: The tariffs could cause disruptions in supply chains, particularly for industries with just-in-time production systems, like the automotive sector.
  • Economic Inefficiency: The protection offered by tariffs could shield less efficient domestic firms from competition, potentially leading to a misallocation of resources and slower overall productivity growth in the long run.
  • Impact on Specific Industries:
    • Automotive: While European carmakers might see a relative advantage compared to US manufacturers facing duties on parts and steel, the new tariffs will still be a burden for European car exporters to the US.
    • Wine and Spirits: The 15% tariffs on EU wine and spirits imports will likely lead to higher prices for consumers and potentially affect the profitability of restaurants and distributors who rely on these products.
  • Uncertainty and Investment Disincentives: The unpredictability surrounding the duration and implementation of these tariffs could discourage European companies from investing in the US, according to Euronews.com.
In essence, while the deal offers some stability compared to a potentially worse outcome, it does come with the cost of higher prices for consumers, potential economic disruptions, and an element of uncertainty for businesses.

Evidently, YOU are willing to pay extra out of your pocket so that Trump gets a fair trade deal, right?

It's just a dumb game.

Was Clinton a good President? Because he was a rapist. Which is worse rape or cheating at golf? How about JFK? He was a serial philanderer. Which is worse cheat at golf or on your wife?

If you are resorting to pointing out the times this guy has cheated at golf to undermine what he's accomplished while in office you're losing. Just sayin

First of all, Clinton was accused of rape by 1 woman and accused of sexual misconduct by 3 women, with 2 of them totally dismissed by a court judge. It was never proven that Clinton raped anyone.

On the other hand, Trump has been formally accused of rape by 4 women and one (E. Jean Carrol) did win her lawsuit against Trump. In addition, he was accused of sexual misconduct by 26 women.

So if we are to compare who was a bigger rapist and sex offender, Trump wins the title by a knockout in the first round.

As far as cheating is concerned, the only thing Clinton was accused of cheating on was his wife. Trump has been accused of cheating on every one of his wives (3 of them). In addition, Clinton was never accused of cheating on anything else, on the other hand, Trump has been accused of cheating on just about everything he ever touched.

Another Knockout by Trump in the first round.

This issue was also a knockout in the first round by me over you!
