I was extremely attracted to my second husband. He was my first husband's best friend. They served on the USS Coral Sea together. I had only been married for three months and was ready for a change. We were married for 14 years.

In my personal experience, it's more like lust at first sight, which can unusually quickly turn into love in some cases.

True love never dies even when there is a death involved.

Amen to this and in my opinion, the best way to let the world know how much you love who you lost is through your decision to not ever remarry or even get out there and start dating again. To me, when you love someone enough, such a pair of shoes can not be filled by anyone else ever.
