   Ukraine's Army currently consists of three brigades1. These include the 33rd and 47th separate motorized infantry brigades, as well as the 3rd separate assault brigade1.

It varies based on casualties and when reinforcements can arrive. They are supposed to have 5,000 per brigade but often some units only have half of that for considerable periods of time.

Ukraine's total active military force is between 800,000 and 900,000 when you include all the logistics and support personnel.

If Ukraine only had three brigades they would have been defeated in hours three years ago. The frontline in the war in Ukraine is 1,250 miles long. Three brigades would struggle to defend 50 miles of front line.

Ukraine started the war with 55 Brigades in February 2022, about half on active duty and the other half in reserve and called up to active duty. The demands of the war forced it to expand to 100 brigades.

Ukraine has a larger ground combat force than any single country in the NATO Alliance. The United States comes the closest with the equivalent of 78 combat maneuver Brigades combined from the Active U.S. Army, U.S. Army National Guard, Active Marine Corp and Marine Corp reserve combined. Only 6 of these combat maneuver brigades are currently stationed in Europe helping defend NATO, with 4 in Eastern Europe(3 in Poland, 1 in Romania), and 1 in Germany and 1 in Italy. Some smaller units are stationed with the multi-national battalions in the Baltic States.

Turkey has the next largest ground combat force with 48 maneuver brigades. All are currently stationed in Turkey a considerable distance from the vulnerable areas of NATO's Eastern flank.

Greece has the third largest with 23 combat maneuver brigades all stationed in Greece.

This will weaken the United States military to the point that it will not be able to fulfill its mission in protecting U.S. National Security.

On immigration, Donald Trump has launched a massive deportation effort that could eventually send millions of U.S. workers back to other countries making the labor shortage worse which will cause inflation to rise as production fails to keep up with consumer demand.

On Trade, Trump Tariffs are the worse since just before the Great Depression and will move the United States into a recession before the end of the year. These tariffs function as a new tax of several thousand dollars on lower and middle income Americans. GDP growth will decline, unemployment will rise, in addition to a rise in inflation. The probability of the first global depression in nearly a century is rising.

On Foreign Policy, Defense Policy, and National Security, Donald Trump has abandoned 80 years of U.S. Foreign Policy and Defense Policy where the United States supported NATO and helped to defend Europe from Soviet/Russian aggression. He has sided with Russia and North Korea on UN Resolutions at the United Nations with regards to Russia's illegal invasion of Ukraine. For 10 days he cut U.S. aid and U.S. intelligence to Ukraine that is fighting for its survival against a brutal Russian invasion. If Ukraine is defeated by the Russian invasion and taking over by Russia, the probability rises that Russia will next invade NATO European countries starting World War III. If World War III starts, the probability of a nuclear war goes up dramatically. No I more disapprove than approve I suppose, but I am not all The Sky is Falling about the things I disapprove of. It just means the dems will have a platform to win the midterms, he'll be gone in 4 either way, and most of the stuff can be reversed. The economy is going to suck for awhile, but it won't really disrupt my family in any meaningful way other than maybe I will end up working a little longer than I planned. I used the outrageous real estate prices to lay on cash by selling off a lot of things I got during the great recession when they were practically giving houses away. I have always been luckier than smart with the timing on money moves and this was just another one of those times.
