Did Pretti act lawfully?

Yes, assaulting, harassing, and interfering with police often leads to unwanted consequences.

Leave police alone, and you are more likely to be struck by lightening than to be pepper sprayed and arrested by them.

If police are wrong, and accost you when you are completely innocent, comply with their orders anyway, and see them in court.

I taught my children that, because I'd rather they ride in a police car unfairly, than to be pepper sprayed and then still ride in a police car when they brought it on themselves.

If Alex Pretti had social distanced from those police officers, he would have lived to protest again, as long as the money held out.
JD Vance says ICE has absolute immunity. The courts can’t do anything.

You need to read the Constitution
Pretti was following the law

Police need to deescalate when there is no threat to themselves or the public

Pretti was on the opposite side the road. The officers came to HIS side. He never approached them.

Why is it that YOU do not want illegals deported and to use the legal immigration process?

Another joker here that believes that a 2 minute video tells the whole story…

Post #151 does tell the whole story. From way before the officers came to Pretti's side of the road. Until after they lined up and executed him. Including all the in between stuff.

It is too bad that we cannot have a rational discussion about police policies and actions.

But the dishonest democrats and the even more dishonest "not democrats" will not give up their narrative of nurse pretti: innocent person wrongfully murdered.

The actions of ICE do more harm than good

I don’t care if a neighbor has the correct paperwork, I care if he is a good neighbor

I don’t want ICE storming my neighbourhood chasing peaceful people

Police overreacted and a man died

Yes he did and he assaulted one but he never met the test for use of deadly force. He was violent and emotionally disturbed and showed poo judgement. He should have been arrested not shot

He was wrongfuly killed he never met the standard for use of deadly force. He should have bee arrested

Pretti was no doubt complicit in his own death. He was armed and interfering with federal activity. He was not peaceful. Pretti was interfering, attacking and destroying property each time he showed up.
I don't know why he thought bringing a loaded weapon to violent protests was a good idea. Was he thinking he needed protection against ICE? Yeah, great idea. A lone gunman pulling out his gun to protect himself against numerous other weapons. That'll end well. Yeah, I know he didn't pull his weapon out but what was his thought process in bringing the gun into a hostile area where one lady had already been killed by ICE? He really didn't think that out well.

He never pulled the gun out he was disarmed when agents spotted it. At that point he was not an imminent threat and should not have been shot. Violent emotionally disturbed bad judgement yes. He should have been arrested

15th post
Lynch mobs are illegal.
You're thinking of Trump's goons going after his VP for respecting the law and democracy?

That's the "trump syndrome" they don't talk about. How it turns Republicans into democrats.
