Did Hitler Think he was a "Good Guy?"

We all have a need to be the "heroes in our own tale."

Did Hitler believe he was a good guy or a bad guy?
How about Pol Pot, Stalin, Jackson and the rest?

Did they wake up each morning saying "gonna commit some evil today," or, did they honestly believe they were acting honorably for the good of their nation?

But, that doesn't matter. How we see ourselves is ego. How the world perceives us is legacy. Remembered.

The world, with a few exceptions, sees these people as evil no matter how they perceived themselves.

Which brings us to the question at hand.

How does the world view you, your beliefs, your actions?
If you step away from yourself and look back would you see a good or bad guy?
This is a PSYCHOLOGICAL question.
A psychopathic extremist, narcissistic to the core with no emotional empathy for others, will always believe THEY are good ... looking in the mirror.

Don't we all?
Muggers justify their need to rob people...
Men justify their beating of women because "she deserved it."...
What you describe is in all of us, is it not?

Are YOU psychopathic?
Normal people have a decent amount of EMPATHY and don't hurt innocent people.
They balance their own needs with the needs of others, to a socially-healthy degree.

Really?
So who's normal?
Are these people "normal?"

All of them have willingly set about harming people they don't know for political or personal gain.

Perhaps you could work on that definition of "normal" and get back to us?

Hitler himself stated that anyone with a conscious had to be eradicated.
His core belief was that might makes right.
He was more than well acquainted with the fact that Jews en-masse rejected this notion and they were the first group that had to be eradicated.

In a way, Hitler was paying Judaism the greatest compliment.

I wonder if it makes any difference whether or not Hitler thought of himself as a “good guy.” I suspect the answer to that question is a big fat “no.”

I similarly wonder why this thread isn’t in the rubber room?

Well I wonder wonder who wrote the book of love.

Zelensky also thinks he is a good guy....they all think they are "good guys"...

Right or wrong....that's how it is! :dunno:
Yeah, some even think they are "stable genius". :dunno: indeed.
