Fact. He was a trained, paid agitator whose job was to wait to get his call from Signal Chat that an ICE team had moved into his zone, and to attack, harass and tie them up indefinitely so much that they never get around to making their arrest or maybe the guy gets away.

And if you got shoved to the sidewalk or ordered to stand down, to just keep going back escalating the battle further so long as you kept the officers engaged and tied up.

The stupid part was when these people were told to do XYZ, that none of them said: "You want me to do what?! That could get me killed!" Apparently the organizers were either idiots or lying when they told them there was no risk. Assaulting, harassing, obstructing, brawling with police is bad enough, but doing it carrying a firearm makes you an instant deadly threat because the gun itself is deadly. That can be charged as felony obstruction of justice and assault on a federal officer with a deadly weapon.
