Pretti got up that day planning on being on alert to patrol a zone to go fight with ICE over tying them up with obstruction. When a person "carries," they carry a gun, they do not generally carry two extra full magazines to back up their gun unless they are expecting a gun fight. It only takes 1-3 rounds for ordinary self-defense.

That will weigh heavily against any claim that Pretti was "gunned down" in violation of his rights, that dude was expecting trouble and he brought heat.

Sorry people but Alex Pretti really DID deserve to die. The guy all but begged, demanded it, and he was not letting up, backing down until someone STOPPED him, just like that Renee Good.

It's a matter of perspective. If you view them at different speeds, you'll see different things. If you watch them in reverse, for example, you'll see that the agents helped Pretti up and sent him on his way.

Well, it depends which caliber. Does anyone know whether Pretti's gun was .357 or .45ACP? Certainly at least 25-30 rounds I'd say. No one carries that much ammo fully backed up for a gunfight going to fight with cops without looking for/expecting a gun fight.

The stupid part was when these people were told to do XYZ, that none of them said: "You want me to do what?! That could get me killed!" Apparently the organizers were either idiots or lying when they told them there was no risk. Assaulting, harassing, obstructing, brawling with police is bad enough, but doing it carrying a firearm makes you an instant deadly threat because the gun itself is deadly. That can be charged as felony obstruction of justice and assault on a federal officer with a deadly weapon.

Or maybe they had some silly idea that in America, you can express your disagreement with the government without getting shot in the face or in the back.
