Dems Are Right: Pelosi’s Attacker Was a Deranged RW MAGA Supporter

No, it’s narrative crafting.

Again, arguing about the extent of these actions is merely revealing bias and has no relevance.

Your examples are people shouting down speakers at universities. I’d say these are isolated incidents unless you’re prepared to claim that every conservative is shouted down at every university. Moreover, saying it’s systemic is unsupported because university speakers are hardly the forefront of speech given it affects a minuscule portion of the population.

Your analysis is motivated by bias. Not data.

It's a large majority of them.

How many university speakers aren't lefty drones?

When was the last time a Young Socialists meeting was disrupted?

That’s a lot of unknowns for someone who is trying to argue it’s systemic.

“A large majority of them” based on what? You have no idea. Everything you have is anecdotal.

Based on stories you could see every day, if you didn't limit yourself to CNN or Daily Kos for your information.

And yet your articles are from 2017.

Anecdotes aren’t evidence of systematic anything. If your complaint doesn’t extend beyond the walls of universities, it’s hardly support that they’re being denied “any platform”.

It’s just narrative crafting. You’re being continuously fed a specific story and you overestimate it’s impact. Propaganda 101

That was one search. plenty more out there, but you would ignore them anyway.

Again, anecdotes aren’t data, as you tried to claim.

There’s all kinds of bias, such as publication bias. Do you think you’ll find stories on the internet about a talk that wasn’t interrupted? Or course not. You sitting in your underwear on your computer isn’t a good way to understand reality.

Basement dweller argument? How 2012.

You are simply trying to justify the left's attack on freedom of expression with a shaky tu quo que argument, and that dog isn't hunting with me.

I’ve never denied that your examples are real and wrong. I never attempted to justify them. You’re lying. But I won’t accept blindly your attempt to turn them into a “systemic” problem.

On the other hand, you have ignored and justified attempts to attack the freedom of expression from the right.

Only the left in this country systemically tries to silence it's opposition. If you deny that, you are one of the silencing supporters, and are playing the tu quo que game.

Yet again you say “systemically” without explaining it or providing an argument about it.

So far it’s just been 5 year old anecdotes from college campuses.

I made my position clear, you just are playing the ignoring the easily looked up proof game.

Google it yourself, pudsucker.

You’re flailing.

Your position is that the left attempts to deny people “any platform” and “systematically” “silencing” people.

This is obviously untrue.

You’re living online and thinking it’s reality. That’s a problem. Kind of what happened to your fellow traveler DePape. Too much internet.

It is obviously true. It's seen in all sorts of silencing attempts, cancelling attempts, and outright bullshit like Biden saying anyone who thinks the elections had an issue are traitors.

“It’s obviously true” is just such a lazy argument.

Plenty of attempts occur on both sides.

Neither of which amounts to anything systemic. College students shouting at speakers is bad and wrong. It’s not a systemic “silencing”.

Neither of which amounts to anything systemic and no one has the ability to silence anyone in this country.

No, far more attempts happen from the left. It's part of the current mantra of progressivism.

You downplay the left's role because you obviously support it when the left does it.

I clearly stated I didn’t support talking down speakers at college, so you’re lying. There haven’t been any other examples given for me to even try to downplay.

You tried to downplay and justify the NFL silencing players kneeling during the anthem.

You tried to downplay coordinated harassment and terrorization by right wing activists.

There are many ways to silence people.

One act, during their working hours.

being mean to them isnt trying to silence them, trying to silence them is trying to silence them

All false equivocation attempts on your part.

And I call bullshit on you not supporting the silencing of right leaning speakers, so shove it up your ass.

The coordinated harassment against people online goes way beyond “being mean to them”. Silencing that “one act” is still silencing it.

You’re downplaying it because you obviously support it when they do it.

Threatening people who speak is indeed silencing them.

No silencing someone is silencing them.

When the left considers anyone to the right of Mitt Romney a Nazi, and any disagreement hate speech, your complaints are seen as what they are, a joke.

Yet again, your argument is just so lazy.

Silencing is silencing? All you have is tautological semantics.

If I can threaten someone to prevent them from speaking, it’s silencing. Targeting campaigns of harassment against people who speak for the LGBTQ community is silencing them.

You’ll downplay it but that’s what’s going on.
