The Democrats are Democrats in name only now, just as we Conservatives are actually many of those from the Democratic party of the late 60s, till late 70s.

If you doubt me, (I do not know how old you are) ask people in the Republican Party that you know......or independents too, in their 50s and 60s if they were ever Democrats. I bet you more than 1/2 say yes they were.

Most of us (including myself) were Democrats until Reagan ran against Carter. Hell, I even voted for Carter to get elected to his only term. But something happened when we all looked at interest rates, the misery index, the unemployment, the gas lines, and his negotiations with Iran to free our hostages.

So when you ask if you will ever hear that from a Democrat again, I must remind you that FORMER Democrats are still saying the same thing, it is just we are now Republicans, Libertarians, or Independents. Some of those who stayed with the Democrats, are still trying to get their party back! But if they did manage to do it, who would believe that they are, who they say they are. Just look.........even on here........the hate and vitriol that spews from their posts.

Ask yourself--------->how many Left wing posters on here actually want to discuss the issues? They don't! That is exactly why when they go on the street and ask unsuspecting Lefties about policy and claim it is Bernies or Obama's, they love it. Then you tell them it is actually Trump's, and they storm away in anger.

Again I say--------->the Left is SCREWED. They won't be able to hide much longer, trust me on this. The full force of the facts will come out BEFORE the midterms, because it was planned that way, once the Republicans had the proof of what was actually going on-)

Why not? Lincoln was guided by the principles of our Founders, and therefore he is a model of conservative leadership today. He believed in natural God-given rights, not the expansive definition of positive rights, without any grounding in nature, advanced by today’s left.

He respected and followed the text of the Constitution, rather than interpreting it as a “living” and evolving document or simply scrapping it altogether.

He also believed in economic freedom, especially the opportunity to work for a wage. He didn't think that the market economy took advantage of those who worked for wages, but rather believed that economic freedom was a ticket to upward mobility for the individual and prosperity for society.
