Smart gun technology for school safety

Smart gun technology could be the solution to school safety. It should be a compromise for Liberals who claim that someone could just take the weapon away from armed teachers. I believe they will never go for the option because the end goal is the complete ban and confiscation of all firearms in the US and they need a body count as justification.

For clarification I'm totally against the idea of the technology being forced on the general public.

I would never consider it myself. Not for my personal weapon anyway.
