Actually, it does matter to know who keeps harming you and pointing finger at somebody else. I guess you didn't like when Trump was blamed and impeached for Biden's crimes. Same way Russia (as well as any other country) doesn't like to be blamed for Ukrainian crimes. BTW, it's Ukraine who keeps begging for your money, not Russia.

Be that as it may Russia is a country with its own interests and moving the US out of the way is certainly one of them.
