Right coast, classified
  1. Canada socializes healthcare.
  2. Canada legalizes euthanasia.
  3. The Canadian government-controlled health care establishment realizes, “Hey, wait a minute, it’s cheaper if these people die, let’s pressure them into it.”
  4. “Euthanasia” is now Canada’s sixth-leading cause of death.
You are either a customer under capitalism, or you are an expense under socialism.

Choose wisely.

The offer of freedom to choose is entirely acceptable to me, being an atheist.

The question now becomes, will it be acceptable to Christians?

And then, will Christians be able to exert any power and influence over government to take the right to choose death, away from Canadians?

Would some conservative government in the future, strip Canadians of this socially acceptable right to choose death by euthanasia?

We already know Leftards are the party of death, no reminders required.

Since March 2023, Canadians have expanded the list of groups of people who can qualify for approved euthanasia. The mentally ill will also be able to use this right, and it is allowed to carry out this procedure without the risk of going to prison, including the relatives and friends of the lucky one
I think, that if such "humane laws" existed in the USSR, many "members of the human rights democratic panopticon" in the USSR with such laws would not have lived to see the collapse of the Union...

This becomes the exact issue that serves to make my case on fascism in America.

One of the main tenets of fascism is the religious right being granted the right to force choices on free citizens in a dying democracy.

And so without being conscious of that fact on fascism's priorities, Americans stumble on the issue that warrants their condemnation, due to their promotion of fascism.

No doubt you’re screaming JUMP to the guy on the bridge.

That's not the issue, and you know it.

The issue is the government realizing it can save $$ by convincing people to end their lives instead of continuing treatment.

You're attempting to conflate this being the right to choose, with forced death sentences by the state.

That won't do.

Your argument must be based on it being wrong to allow it, based on religious principles. And I argue that it's not wrong on account of religion is separate from law and must be kept so.

Religious superstitious beliefs must never infringe on Canadian's right to choose. Not on this question and not on any question in which government makes laws on behalf of the people.

You want to off yourself, be my guest, don't expect me to ever do that but I have no issue if you are tired of life and want to end it. Pretty sad that people wanting to die is the sixth leading cause of death in Canada, must be a hellish place to live.

Government saving money can be a side benefit of allowing citizens in a free country to make free choices.

The more Americans say, the more they acknowledge that they have now come to a position of rejecting free choice, based on religious superstition.

Under a fascist regime, church and state can't be separate!

You've taken a position contrary to that of your fellow Americans in that you're accepting our right to choose.

Canada can't be labelled a hellish place to live, due to our much higher life expectancy and our lower infant mortality rate.

"Free choices", That's the crux of it. Not doctors telling them they would be better off not being alive?

It's a short step from "choice" to "we will give you hospice care for free, but no more curative care or pain management care"

As an Atheist, I find it complete bullshit you would be so cavalier about ending someone's existence.

Some day soon I hope, you may be forced by religious principles to suffer an end of live ailment, for days, becoming weeks, and becoming months.

And than your pleas for mercy will be based on your rights and freedoms that you willingly forfeited in the name of Trump/fascism!

When death is forced on a free people, you'll have a position to argue. Until then, you strengthen my case that I can base on our rights and freedoms never being squandered away for the sake of fascism's rise, as it relates to ultimate power being granted to the church.

It will never be openly forced, it will however by highly encouraged so people "take one for the team".

So idiots like you can keep saying "no one was forced" when they clearly were.
