"cut the wealth of billionaires in half over 15 years, "

I think you're making a mistake to think in terms of big or small government.
We have the best government money can buy.

Marx knew that labor power is distinct from every other commodity in one important aspect; labor has the power to produce value beyond what is needed for its own reproduction.

The value that goes into the commodities that sustain a worker for a 12 hour day is less than the value of the commodities that worker can produce during those 12 hours.

"The key to understanding the nature of the capitalist economy, according to Marx, lies in understanding the nature of the commodity.

"A commodity is something that is useful and that is produced in order to be exchanged for a different kind of commodity.

"Parents who make bread to feed their family are not producing commodities.

"Bakers who produce bread to sell on the market are producing commodities."

The Labor Theory of Value and Surplus Value
Marx was a worthless, lazy piece of shit who let his family starve to death. Figures he'd be your hero.

Anything Trump says is at least as likely to be a lie as not.
Why aren't you smart enough to notice?

Trump University - Wikipedia

"On November 18, 2016, it was reported that Trump had agreed to pay $25 million to settle the two class actions and the New York suit.

"The settlement was reached 10 days before the San Diego class action was scheduled to go to trial.

"$21 million will go to the participants in the class actions, $3 million will go to New Yorkers not covered by the class actions, and a penalty of up to $1 million will be assessed by the state of New York for running an unlicensed university."
Someone stupid enough to believe Marx is in no position to judge the intelligence of others.

You always run away from this question:

How much of what other people earn is your fair share?
My share of the total amount billionaires steal from society.
Billionaires don't "earn" their income/wealth.
They bribe corrupt politicians to politically construct laws and institutions designed to permit them to privatize profits and socialize cost.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2021/06/12/is-it-time-limit-personal-wealth/

"After examining a trove of tax returns spanning more than 15 years, the journalism nonprofit reported this week that America’s billionaires were legally keeping their tax bills low by declaring minuscule amounts of taxable income relative to their rapidly expanding fortunes.

"ProPublica calculated that from 2014 to 2018, the 25 richest Americans paid taxes equal to only 3.4 percent of their gain in wealth.

"But if multibillionaires pay, as a share of their net worth, virtually nothing in income taxes — and sometimes pay nothing at all — we, as a society, let them do it.

So, all you have to answer the question is Commie bullshit.

You don't deserve a fucking thing. Earn it or starve.

It's not inprecedented for a construction contractor, and Trump was both a plaintiff and a defendent on those lawsuits.
Trump's a lifelong grifter only brain-dead crackers could support.

Legal affairs of Donald Trump - Wikipedia

"Trump has, however, been involved in far more litigation than fellow real-estate magnates; the USA Today analysis in 2016 found that Trump had been involved in legal disputes more than Edward J. DeBartolo Jr., Donald Bren, Stephen M. Ross, Sam Zell, and Larry Silverstein combined."

Yes the same source you cited.

They showed no negative effects. Nor positive effects.

That by definition IS association which by definition is not cause and effect.

Effects of economic inequality - Wikipedia

"A 1999 review in the Journal of Economic Literature states high inequality lowers growth, perhaps because it increases social and political instability.[81] The article also says:

"Somewhat unusually for the growth literature, studies have tended to concur in finding a negative effect of high inequality on subsequent growth. The evidence has not been accepted by all: some writers point out the concentration of richer countries at the lower end of the inequality spectrum, the poor quality of the distribution data, and the lack of robustness to fixed effects specifications. At least, though, it has become extremely difficult to build a case that inequality is good for growth. This in itself represents a considerable advance. Given the indications that inequality is harmful for growth, attention has moved on to the likely mechanisms.... the literature seems to be moving ... towards an examination of the effects of inequality on fertility rates, investment in education, and political stability.[81]"

So says Bernie Sanders...https://berniesanders.com/issues/tax-extreme-wealth/
He says ..."Will raise an estimated $4.35 trillion over the next decade"
That's $435 billion additional tax revenue per year.
Right now... if the top 1% of US households (164 million households) or 1.64 million earn
$1,700,000 per year and pay right now about 20% of all federal tax revenue.
BUT if Bernie and the majority of the ignorant people on this board have their way...
according to Bernie these "billionaires" will have "cut the wealth of billionaires in half over 15 years,"
Hmmm... so if Bernie has his way and cuts these evil billionaires wealth in half... how will Bernie pay for the next 15 years?
Remember he is counting on these "billionaires" to pay $435 billion a year from their wealth which according to his plan will be reduced every year.
Which means the tax payments will be reduced. It's just simple economics.

Why are you concerned about how much tax a billionaire pays?
