They're grandstanding.

I don't know how in the world they plan on taxing "wealth". The logistics of that, gathering and determining the numbers, would be interesting to see.

Regarding grandstanding, that's almost certainly true. Make the Republicans look like ogres protecting the billionaires by not signing on. Like Trump knowing the Dems weren't going to stand during the State of the Union.

We need less political game-playing and more adult cooperation.
