No, a five percent wealth tax on those with a net worth of a billion dollars would not leave us "f**ked.
Neither state has a wealth tax.How is it working out so far for California and Washington state revenues?
I sure wont allow you to pick and choose what you will or wont cutAll well and fine but that's like saying you support no one dying from cancer.
Your healthcare isn't my responsibility. There is nothing in the constitution that suggests the government is responsible for your healthcare. So run along parasite. It`s interesting how we can instantly fund a war, but can`t find money for healthcare.
As usual, you don't what you're talking about. Jeff Bezos has already made to move to FL.Neither state has a wealth tax.

Washington state has approved a 9.9% tax on personal income over $1 million, known as the "millionaires tax." This tax is expected to generate significant revenue for public services and will take effect in 2028, with payments starting in 2029.

It is and has been marketed as a wealth tax as it targets ONLY those who make $1M/yr. BTW, chances are it will be struck down for multiple reasons. Income tax is unconstitutional in the state of WA. It is also a selective tax based on WEALTH. Now run along and cut and paste more garbage. You are wrong on this subject AGAIN.Neither state has a wealth tax. That is an income tax.
Come the fawk on. "Wealth" tax. Tax on "wealth", not tax on income. Hell, you say the wealthy pay all the income taxes, so why do you call them income taxes. ******* moron. And Washington state classifies income as property thereby allowing it to be taxed. And to add insult to injury, the rates you claim have not been enacted, have not even been signed by the governor yet, and probably won't.It is and has been marketed as a wealth tax as it targets ONLY those who make $1M/yr. You go with that. Keep doubling down on your ignorance. I live in WA and am fully aware of the happenings unlike you. Now run along goober.Come the fawk on. "Wealth" tax. It is on the ballot in California for November, 2026. The income tax passed in Washington state, set to take effect on January 1, 2028, still awaiting governor's signature.Didn't they just vote on one?
Do they start this year?

WA legislature has passed one and it is on the govs desk. He has indicated he will sign it. It doesn't take effect until 2028, but some wealthy business owners have abandoned the state for other more tax friendly states. Jeff Bezos has gone to FL.Didn't they just vote on one?

The only solution is across-the-board cutsI don't get to pick and those who can, won't.
