I got into an argument with a European today at work..
He asked me why Americans like me don't act as Europeans since we're the same people..
And he asked me if I'm white..

I proudly told him that its because I'm not European, I'm American.
And no my culture is not all white.

And here is what American is.

Take a look around you..

I turned his head for him...

I said, you see all those people out there?
Those are all real people and every one of them has a whole story to tell and the good about every one of them can be used to help me in my life...
The bad about every one of them teaches me what not to be.

Some would be my friends, some won't like me...
But enough will talk to me to teach me everything, and those who don't like me can teach me why, which is how to personally grow...
Others still who dont like me even more, teaches me what I don't need in my life.

Now adapt.
