Wow. The judge is referring the whole thing to the proper authorities to revoke all of the lawyer's licenses.

'Profound abuse': Judge disciplines pro-Trump lawyers over election lawsuit

The judge says in the ruling:

"This lawsuit represents a historic and profound abuse of the judicial process," Parker said in her decision, adding that the case "was never about fraud - it was about undermining the People's faith in our democracy and debasing the judicial process to do so."

The judge said Powell, Wood, and other lawyers who worked with them "have scorned their oath, flouted the rules, and attempted to undermine the integrity of the judiciary along the way."


Parker on Thursday also ordered the pro-Trump lawyers to reimburse election officials for the cost of defending the lawsuit. The amount will be determined by the judge in the coming months, said David Fink, a lawyer for the City of Detroit who requested sanctions, in an interview.

Such a ruling by Judge Parker is re-assuring.
More than a few skeptics believed Krakenpot Powell, Tucker Giuliani, et al, were doing the whole schtick for:
1. Performative art, intended only to sow doubt;
2. A money-vacuum reducing the Duped & Snookered's bank accounts.

On those two criteria they succeeded.
Witness the ginormous amount of attention they received from Rightfield Leftfield, and Centerfield media and that media's viewers & readers.

Witness the amount of money that the 'Trump' PACs, and other organizations sucked in.

But the skeptics seemed to have been on the right scent all along........they were sniffing scammers.

Let us hope that Judge Parker brings the hammer. And that penalty will thus be an effective prophylactic for such jackassery in the future.
