There are some ceremonial things that I think are worth the taxpayer's money. This is one of them.

I'm pretty sure most of the military parade vehicles will come from Andrews right there in Washington DC. Soldiers coming from outside Washington DC will be housed in unused government buildings, not hotels. Those participating are doing so voluntarily though they will receive government paid meals and I think $50 extra pay for doing it.

Will it cost the exorbitant amounts the usually dishonest MSM is reporting? I don't know since so far everybody is using anonymous sources. Nobody seems to know if the entertainers at an evening concert are donating their time and talent.

But you can certainly join the other leftists who intend to spoil the day with their protests about all sorts of things. +

• HOAX: An AP reporter claimed that FAA staff who worked on “radar, landing and navigational aid maintenance, among others” were “harassed on Facebook” by DOGE.

• HOAX: The Daily Beast claimed Vice President JD Vance “broke one of the most notorious Vatican rules during his Easter weekend visit” by being photographed in the Sistine Chapel.

she did no such thing.

She had been so personally involved in issues that were finally addressed in the bipartisan "Take it Down Act" passed by Congress and signed into law by President Trump, he asked her to symbolically add her signature to the already signed bill.

There can never be any fraud with programs like Medicare, because people are not gaining anything by being treated.

• FACT: “There were 55 aviation accidents in the U.S. between Biden’s inauguration on Jan. 21, 2021, and Feb. 17, 2021, compared to 35 during the same period for Trump,” Fox News reported.

Past aviation accidents are irrelevant since they were under the same FAA rules.
It is NOW, after the FAA cuts, that we should be concerned about increasing aviation accidents, mistakes, etc.

• HOAX: The Fake News attempted to paint illegal immigrant gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia as an innocent “Maryland father” who was unjustly deported by the Trump Administration — and actively censored the truth about him.
• FACT: Abrego Garcia is a citizen of El Salvador and was deported to his home country amid overwhelming evidence of his gang affiliation.

Total lie.
Not only does Kilmar have absolutely no gang affiliation at all, but gang affiliation is illegal to use as a basis to discriminate or abuse anyone.
The fact is Kilmar has US citizens for a wife and children, so was totally illegal to deport.
And it was also illegal to deport him since in 2019 a judge has issued a protection order.

• HOAX: Deranged “filmmaker” Michael Moore questioned whether deported illegal immigrants would go on to cure cancer or stop “that asteroid (sic) that’s gonna hit us.”
• FACT: Moore’s statement was a strong early contender for the dumbest, most ridiculous statement of the year considering those deported illegal immigrants were violent criminals.

Total lies.
None of those deported even had hearings, so none of them could have been convicted "violent criminals".
It was totally illegal to deport any of them.
Michael Moore was totally correct in that deporting immigrants deprive us of people who may have been essential.
