Can you imagine if we delineated each and every form of "free exercise of religion"
that the First Amendment applied to? What about atheist "beliefs" or political beliefs?
Beliefs about LGBT and marriage (either for or against). by the time we spelled all
this out, then federal govt would be in the business of regulating religion by defining
which things counted or not!

As for semiautomatic weapons, what's wrong with using such weapons for
defense against wild herds of boars that attack people and livestock in Arkansas, Texas and other regions.

What about the Korean business owners who relied on displaying such weapons
and firing warning shots to deter rioters and looters from attacking them and their stores during LA riots? When 'assault weapons' saved Koreatown | Human Events

Are the lawmakers going to call for bans and deportation of anyone who would
create a dangerous criminal situation REQUIRING citizens to take defense into their own hands?

If anyone is going to agree to give up weapons because of the crimes and threats of others,
what's the tradeoff?

Are restrictions on citizens going to require ALL people to learn and follow the laws
under threat of deportation? Are all people going to agree to screening for mental and criminal disorders
so nobody who is unsafe or incompetent has rights to go around free to commit crimes, attack people
or abuse guns to do so?

What restrictions would we all agree to as fair to screen out criminals from getting and abusing guns?

If the rightwing believers in gun rights don't agree to these all out bans that
treat and punish law abiding citizens the same as criminals without due process,
will the leftwing advocates agree to mental health screening for all citizens
and deportation of any criminals unwilling to comply with laws and authority?

What requirements for rights of citizenship will both sides agree is fair and treats all people the same?

Hell, imagine if the right to an abortion were so restricted as to force people to rely on early 19th century technology.

I plan to watch, but I'm skeptical that it will be very good. Jesus Christ Superstar tends to be a fantastic idea that is almost universally done poorly at every attempt.

The movie is all right. Pilate's role resonated with me... along with other roles played in the movie.

The movie is all right... Pilate's role resonated with me.

Pilate was decent, but overall the movie is really schizophrenic. The #1 sin in JCS productions is to foul the time setting, and the movie fouls it up worse than you'll ever see on stage.

That appears to me to be an Act of War by the US Government against the American People, and if enacted should be treated as such.
We need about 2 million concerned citizens exercising their 2nd amendment rights carrying Armalite Rifle -15 into Washington DC from the north and the south and watch the cowards of the Congress abandon ship like the rats they are. We should catch them, try them and then if need be put them in stocks for a month until they get the message they work for US not the other way around.
