Now, normally, this is the sort of thing for which whomever is President at the time, gets to take some credit for, but given how close this was in time to Obama's infamous “You didn't build that!” remark, on the basis of the principle expressed in that remark, I think Obama should be denied any credit for taking out Bin Laden. After all, by any rational standard, he had a lot less to do with it than those who was telling “You didn't build that!” had to do with what they did, in fact, build.

I know. Trump didn't 'kill' this guy either. Both gave the order, as is their role in the chain of command. They both deserve the credit for making the call, IMO, as do those that carried out the order. Obviously the SEALs hitting ground and performing the raid undertook the largest risks in either scenario, but as much as I was not a fan of Obama he grabbed his nuts and jumped for once, so I can't not acknowledge that much....
