Jewish Bolshevism, also Judeo–Bolshevism, is an antisemitic and anti-communist conspiracy theory that claims that the Russian Revolution of 1917 was a Jewish plot and that Jews controlled the Soviet Union and international communist movements, often in furtherance of a plan to destroy Western civilization.

He was though but that statement wasn't directed at religion. It was directed at human suffering; the human condition. In that regard Marx recognized that the masses got comfort from religion. He didn't believe that religion was a good solution for human suffering though. He believed the solution was satisfaction of material needs and primitive impulses.
