1. There could be a much stronger, louder and more consistent backlash within Islam to condemn and isolate Jihadism
2. The American PC Police would stop deflecting for and enabling Jihadism with their incredible "but the Crusades were bad too" crap
3. The next American President (this one won't do it) strongly & clearly promoted assimilation, which Muslims worldwide refuse to do
4. The next American President (this one won't do it) stopped leveraging Identity Politics to divide us and enable non-assimilation

Let's review the civil rights violations the OP advocates:

This violates the Free Exercise clause of the First Amendment.

We have 4th Amendment search and seizure, privacy rights violations.

And the 5th Amendment's Due Process Clause is violated along with the Takings Clause.

This sort of fear, ignorance, and hate demonstrates why the Constitution and its case law is needed as much today as during any time in this Nation's history.

Let's run with this a few steps. If you banned Islam in the US, how do you do it? Erase the 1st Amendment or re-write it? What about other religions like Satanism? That going bye-bye as well? Where do you then draw the line? Christianity only? Protestant denominations only? What about an Islamic derivitive religion as Protestantism was to original Catholic-Christianity? Is that allowed or not?

What about all the Muslim US citizens now forbidden from exercising their faith? Deport them? Imprison them? Kill them? What do you actually do if someone does exercise their faith? Feed them to the perverbial lions?
