the fact is, that regardless of what Britain said in 1939, the U.N. passed a partition resolution that the Arabs rejected. Then they invaded a country/area that was NOT there's to do so with.

(Well, it is still somewhat under debate whether UNSC Resolutions under Chapter VI are binding in the sense that they are enforceable.)

Most of these 28 are simply re-iterations of the same resolution not to change the status of the "occupied territories" and include this precious line: Reaffirming that acquisition of territory by military conquest is inadmissible.

The original violation of UNSC Resolutions, of course, is the military conquest of Israel by Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq when they attempted to acquire territory.
