Neither had I until Newsweek's reporter on Charlie Rose pointed it out as part of Obama's "creepy cult of personality".

Amen to 'vapid themes'. There wasn't enough substance in that campaign to keep a canary alive. If 'Joe the Plumber' can ask a question that sends a campaing reeling to respond it is truly VAPID.
We might wanna test out our candidates a bit more next time BEFORE the rest of the world does.
