To win as quickly as they had planned, you bring in your best troops, train them for the mission, provide supplies and coordination between air and ground forces

I agree but they for some reason have been sticking to the conscript because they didn't declare war on Ukraine, which is incredibly stupid, but it appears they are now considering a Declaration of war then they will bring in the full power of the military on Ukraine.

What has Pootin accomplished?

His miscalculations have costs the lives of tens of thousands of young Russians. The Russian economy is in free fall. He has shown the world that his military is not ready for Prime time. His aggression has lead to the unification of NATO and even the addition of, at least, two more countries.

He is struggling to gain ground in Easter Ukraine and the people will never accept Russian rule. Pootin screwed up royally. I don't see an off ramp for Pooty.

Despite all the propaganda about fredom of press in western countries, there is a concerted effort to hide the truth about what's really happening in Ukraine.

The reality is that the ukrainian army was shattered, completely torn apart by the russian steamroller.

Ukraine is like a patient who suffered an extensive aortic rupture and western doctors are desperately pumping blood (weapons) to try and delay the inevitable outcome.

The western press is hiding the truth from americans and europeans.

It's important to note I'm referring to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The destruction of the UAF does not necessarily mean the end of the ukrainian resistance. The (upcoming?) guerrilla warfare and other forms of resistance are a whole different story.

He didn't try to fail he is trying to avoid declaring war that would have made it a lot easier for other countries to be more directly involved in the conflict, but it isn't working well for him which is why there is growing talk that he may declare war soon to then be able to fully mobilize his military and finally smash Ukraine who are slowly losing anyway.
