That is not cancel culture. Cancel culture is organizing a movement to get someone fired or demanding someone take action or suffer some consequence because they have offended your political views or feelings.

That is EXACTLY what happened to the Dixie Chicks.

Also, whats happening today is a LOT different than what happened to the dixie chicks. For starters, there is a lot more of it today, its not just a random one off occurrence, its a full on assault against anything the left doesn't like. We are seeing cancel culture left and right, and not only with celebrities, but ordinary everyday people are losing their jobs because of things they say on social media. Cancel culture is ruining the lives of many people these days.

Yeah, what happened to dixie chicks shouldn't have happened, and to be honest, im surprised it did, since the dixie chicks are clearly very liberal, and most of Hollywood and the entertainment industry is also very liberal. Are we now in a revenge state of mind, where, if they did it to us, then we have to get them back?
