Can we be honest here?

It's difficult to see how he survives his ignoring and even preventing testing of the virus. The virus itself is apolitical. Saying Team Trump did a good job not only requires ignoring facts, it requires ignoring the world. LOL

Even assuming a large maj of Whites change their minds on policing and systemic racise - OR MORE LIKELY - if the uncivil and anarchist protestors become the story, Trump still wears the dead albatross around his neck.

Trump's campaign will be more negative that Obama's 12 campaign. We'll see.

Do you think Americans are that dumb? Protests and riots took place in Democrat cities, and Democrat states, the Mayors did little to nothing about it, the rioters were Democrats, and they were upset about the conduct of a police officer in one of their Democrat cities.

But that's Trump's fault?

My view of the race six months ago was much, much worse For Democrats than today.

There was a time when it looked like Biden was collapsing and Bernie Sanders would get the nomination. I did not think Bernie could beat Trump. Commie, Commie, Commie

Even with Biden, I saw Biden taking Pennsylvania and Michigan with Trump holding Wisconsin for the narrow win.

But all that depended on Trump riding a strong economy to victory. Trumps performance against COVID has been horrible and it has tipped the race to the Democrats at all levels of government.

I now see Biden taking Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin for the win. In addition, I see Biden taking Florida, Arizona and North Carolina for a big victory.

If Trump continues to slide, I can see Texas, Georgia, Iowa and Ohio going to Biden

Are any of our USMB Conservatives more concerned about Trumps re-election chances compared to six months ago?

Yeah, I'm more concerned. Although frankly I was more worried about Bernie than Biden. If Trump was a TV show, people would be changing the channel or turning off the TV, but when you're alternative is Biden and the Democrats then the choice is clear. At this point, I think Trump is not doing so well, but that can change for the better over the last 4 months before election day. OTOH, things could change for the worse too for him.

I have to say this, Biden is an absolute catastrophe for the Dems, mentally he's already checked out. This man is just not able to do what might be the most demanding job in the world. It does help to have the MSM solidly behind you though. So - 4 more years of Trump or 4 years of Biden, should he live that long which I wonder, what a choice.

Pay attention, Ray. I posted that systemic racism and policing may not be an issue that swings votes. The virus … that's another matter. I think that's sort of an anchor around his neck

Those BLM protests deeply damaged Trump.
They showed him as callous and out of touch.
I can see Trump recovering from those protests.....But not the economy or COVID

Uh-huh. A worldwide pandemic is Trump's fault. Good luck selling that one.

The Wuhan virus and the economy are the same thing. We had the best economy in 50 years before the virus came along, and people will remember that.

My very liberal millennial daughter told me the other day that there is no way she is voting for "creepy hair-sniffing dementia Joe" -- her words, not mine. She also said that she probably wouldn't vote for Trump, but maybe for whomever the Libertarian candidate is or maybe just skip the presidential vote and just vote the down ballot races.
I don't think her position is unusual for millennial's.

Biden is a safe and secure pick after four years of Trump drama and temper tantrums.

As opposed to Hillary, there is not a strong......I hate Biden vote.

Biden has a long history of bipartisanship and a moderate voting record. People will settle for Biden.

The Good ole days of the Obama/Trump economy are gone.

All we can look at is how Trump has performed in a crisis and it has not been good.

If Trump hangs onto to Wis, then AZ and NC are deciders. However the virus is not doing Trump favors in Fla

Yes I am. The ability of Social Media platforms to mobilize large numbers of young clueless voters should not be underestimated. They are ALL clearly biased against Trump and will be utilizing every resource to sway the election to Biden.

I don't think all that many of those young clueless voters are particularly enamored of Biden, so I wouldn't be surprised to see many of them sit this one out. Or maybe vote for a 3rd party person.

Your daughter is an outlier
There is strong....I hate Trump sentiment among younger voters
The polls show it

They showed Dims as a gang of malicious thugs who hate white people. They hurt Biden far more than Trump. when the election comes around do you actually believe that the majority of property owning productive Americans are going to pull the lever for the candidate who supports such rampant lawlessness?

Why does the OP ask, what has changed?
Are any of our USMB Conservatives more concerned about Trumps re-election chances compared to six months ago?

Not in the least bit. It's likely that this Wuhan virus will be with us by the election, and you can't handover this country to a guy like that given our situation.
Yet, the COVID virus has destroyed his Presidency. How do you see Trump recovering in four months?

Do you think more of the same will do it?
Covid/tanked economy hurt him; protests are turning off a lot of people and may bring him a different element. So it's probably about even right now. But polls are fickle and no one should trust that he has lost a lot of support.

It could be both guys have trouble with the middle (Trump's going to spend over 500 million in ten states at most). I'm not sure how the Bernie guys will vote or not vote.

Six months ago, I gave Florida to Trump and looked at a narrow Trump victory in Wisconsin

Today, both Florida and Wisconsin look solid Biden.
Florida goes to Biden and the election is over

Much more concerned actually, Winger! Joe Biden in the White House has become even scarier than it was before. Where I thought he was just an idiot back then...I'm more convinced now that he's going senile and it's happening rather quickly. If Trump doesn't win...we're in deep trouble!
