My school district offers health insurance coverage whose premiums they pay a percent of. But they don't give that to "everyone" or "the universe." They offer it only to people who work in the district. It is hard work at decent pay and benefits.
So yes. I pay for my own health insurance through my own hard work.
That is different from you* living on disability, or student loan, or subsidized Obamacare insurance, or Medicaid or how ever your health care is paid for by . . . oh wait, by me also.
Trump was elected in part by people who don't see the logic in paying for our health coverage and also for yours. Trump has an altruistic nature and has been convinced that if he gets rid of Obamacare, he must replace it with a plan that does all that Obamacare does, which means I keep paying for your healthcare.
I disagree with him on that, but I accept that Trump is a populist, and not a conservative or libertarian.
*I mean the generic "you" not Winco specifically. Saves you from having to explain how you are independently wealthy and are only concerned about the poor, not your own freebies. I love internet tall tales, but that one gets old.
