The African slave population was offered the opportunity to leave this country post-1865. That population has had more than sufficient to assimilate to American society. It’s their lack of willingness to assimilate that has caused the vast majority of the problems in that community.

To put this in perspective, the last time they had a price war was about a decade or so ago. Prices plummeted. At Kroger gallon milk was under a dollar, dozen eggs was 39 cents, pound butter was $2.49.
