After being dealt 34 felony convictions in New York, Trump should have a very good handle on what the word "evidence" means. Yet he continues, even at this very late date, to spout nonsense that the 2020 presidential election was "stolen" from him. As recently as last Thursday he said "'they' are finding proof that the 2020 election was 'totally rigged!'"

The problem with this is the same as it has always been, Trump will never share his "proof" with the American public. He continues to rail about "stolen, rigged election," and he expects us to just take his word for it. Sorry Trump, that ain't good enough. Either present your proof to the public or stop your whining!

Bigly!!!

You have a right to your erroneous opinion. No evidence, just unhappy. The court says differently. I think the appeals court will also.

Why should Trump know what "evidence" means when the judge in his cases doesn't know what "jury instructions" are?

You don't tell a jury "Look to see if he's guilty, pick from one of these 3 crimes, if you think he did one of these, find him guilty." CRIMES HE WASN'T EVEN CHARGED WITH. What kind of BULLSHIT ASS BULLSHIT is that?

There were so many ******* procedural laws that were broken in his trial it's not even funny.

^ Nonsense. The judge explained the evidence and the consequences. Trump will fail on appeal.

The judge gave bullshit ass jury instructions. That's well known. Just because YOU don't like hearing it, doesn't make it "nonsense."

Arguments Over Legality
Critics and the defense team argued these instructions were "legally and constitutionally defective" for several reasons:
  • Sixth Amendment Rights: Critics argued that the lack of a specific unanimous finding on the "unlawful means" violated Trump's constitutional right to a unanimous verdict on every element of a crime.
  • Federal Jurisdiction (FECA): Defense attorneys argued that New York state courts lacked jurisdiction to use a federal law violation (FECA) as a predicate for a state-level felony.
  • Lack of Notice: The defense contended that because the specific "unlawful means" were not detailed in the original indictment, Trump was deprived of fair notice of the accusations against him

Cute. All you say is "nonsense." Can you show where it's legal to use a federal statute for a state crime?

Can you show where it's legal that legal definitions that were not given to Trumps legal team in the original indictment can be given to the jury as jury instructions?

I'm glad I don't wake up around noon everyday suffering from TDS. It has to be miserable
I'm no huge fan of Trump but it tickles me the way he antagonizes the loons

Worse still, the OP's source of news is a blog from Rachael Madcow.

After being dealt 34 felony convictions in New York,

It was ONE conviction for a misdemeanor, issued 34 times, a misdemeanor that is never charged and was long expired, only elevated to a felony on specious grounds so to be able to still pursue it by withholding what the crime was from Trump's lawyers while giving jurors the unprecedented multiple-path-choice to get a conviction, all to be overturned upon appeal.

Then you can holler that the SCOTUS is corrupt and in Trump's back-pocket.

Your claim, your burden to show that "legal definitions that were not given to Trumps legal team in the original indictment can be given to the jury as jury instructions?"

Don't bother to answer. You can't.

Just more attempts by Trump to move towards a dictatorship.

He looks to Russia where they have elections, which Putin wins because... it's not a democracy.

Trump is a toxic narcissist, liar, and fraud.

Well, the case can be made about most any president. Joe Biden lied through his teeth. Biden was a mega-fraud. Find me a president who hasn't lied about or mislead on something! So, rather pointless accusing Trump of things that most/all other presidents are guilty of too.

Did Obama lie about Obummacare? Where's that $2500 savings promised you?

Was Obama a fraud? The guy could not even turn in an honest birth certificate because the real one was in Mombasa.

So, all that really leaves is toxic narcissist. Is Trump a narcissist? Sure seems so, but so what? That is personality not policy and presidents are valued for their policy. Many great presidents had personality flaws. Further, maybe some of Trump's narcissism is deserved, well-earned, or even just comes with the territory. Go find me a billionaire willing to gut his life and business and get beat over the head for what he believes is right and good for this country, and you'll likely just get another Joe Biden or John McCain.

Trump has asteroid balls and with asteroid balls probably comes some narcissism.

So all that leaves is TOXIC. Is Trump toxic? I guess that depends on whether you like him or not. Me, it is something I'm willing to tough it out through if it gets me the big, wholesale changes of the kind that Trump has been cashing in all across the country and around the planet.

JUST REMEMBER TAS: if next president you get a guy who is humble and milquetoast, do not complain if the whole GOP (which Trump has been motivating forward), does not also revert back to the party of Bob Dole when the GOP was getting handed their ass.

All republicans could do then is sit around telling each other what good conservatives they were, while losing their shirts.
