I've been explaining the creation account to you. What I said in the very first post is how you should state my belief. If you promise to do that from now on, we can end this. But I'm not ending it until you stop misstating what I believe.

My position is that the account of Genesis were allegorical accounts of historical events and important truths that were passed down orally for thousands of years before being recorded in writing. We are obliged to read the text as written, which includes literal and symbolic aspects that are properties belonging to the author’s descriptive portrayal of reality.
