I don't like slavery but I try to view history accurately, not as I would like it to be. If it was so bad, please explain why it was so common historically and geographically.

Not having slavery is logical because people aren’t property to be disposed of at the will of its owner. Conspiracy theory much? Because again… the point of the account was leaving Egypt and establishing laws because that’s what they believed they were chosen to do.
