A sports league that wants to put a stop to this would've suspended Alyssa Thomas the rest of the season, forced her to attend "anger management" classes to reinstate.

Instead, a laugh, a pat on the back, and a "wow, our ratings went up" was the response, a one game suspension.

Right before Covid19, about in 2020, I was a financial service representative. One of my clients in Southern California, a couple and daughter who are black, asked me to come over and take care of some financial things. They lived in a small condo in a town mostly of people who are white. I knocked on their door and this very tall black woman, about 30 years of age, with a pretty smile, who did not live there, answered the door. I introduced myself. She was at least 6'6" tall. Maybe a little bit more. She let me in to wait for the others to come home. We sat down and I finally realized it was Sylvia Fowles of the Minnesota Lynks. She was very nice and with make up on rather good looking too. She was friends with the daughter who was security guard for USC events. She was there hiding from the press and others to get some rest. She did have her 4 Olympic gold medals with her. Impressive. I never felt like she was racist at all. Good sense of humor and great personality too.

It's too bad the league has really gone downhill lately. The players who are assaulting Clark need to spend time in jail. That is the only way this will stop.
