The only way to reduce crime is a strong enough deterrent. That's why in this country concealed carry is a huge help in stopping attackers unlike most countries. Another problem is our prisons are lowlife playgrounds. Three square meals a day, cable television, a field outside where they play sports, a nice private room if your wife wants to stop by to start a family, and an account friends and family can deposit money into for you to buy goodies.

I join others in expressing the deepest sympathies to the family of the victim.

The victim, a college graduate and someone with a bright future ahead, was murdered by a worthless individual.

We cannot expect the situation to improve, for (a) the bleeding hearts are now in charge in most states and in D.C. and (b) there are so many of these bad people and they all cannot be locked up.

By the end of this century (or earlier), the United States of America will be awash in so much violence that it will be simply part of American life, as it is in Baltimore and other cities.
