Like its famous raisins, opportunity in California is drying up. From 2000 to 2020, California experienced a net loss of 2.6 million people to other U.S. states. Its total population was propped up by natural population increases and strong foreign immigration, but in 2020 foreign immigration decreased and the state's birth rate continued its steady decline. As a result, California’s total population fell by 182,000 people.

A new study finds that business headquarters are also leaving California, and at an increasing rate. Relocation of California business headquarters from January 2018 to June 2021. 265 headquarter relocations over the three-and-a-half-year period, or an average of six relocations per month.

Im in real estate and people are moving in in droves. Dont get your hopes up.

True…needy, taxpayer dependent, illiterate, criminal wetbacks are moving in in droves…NOBODY would argue that.
Immigrants are creators of business in the US.

A 2020 National Bureau of Economic Research working paper on why restrictive immigration is bad for U.S. entrepreneurship shows that immigrants were 80% more likely to start a business than those born in the U.S., and that the number of jobs created by these immigrant-founded firms was 42% higher than native-founded ...Jun 3, 2021

If we don't secure Texas independence quickly, this is what Texas will look like.

The Biden Admin is LITERALLY suing to stop Texas from preventing illegal immigration.

Im in west LA and mostly those that move in and i rent to are highly educated professionals. Less and less vacancies.

Residental or commercial? That factor makes a huge difference.

And what exactly qualifies as droves?

What part of California?

How many people are selling vs buying?

How many of these sales are from residents of other states?

What is the average sale value of the place these drives are going into?

Just saying "I'm in real estate" doesn't really mean much at all.

West LA has been an enclave of the rich and liberal for decades. Mostly people like lawyers, governmental employees and others relatively unaffected by California’s problems. In fact they are the class that has caused most of those problems. In other words, upper and upper middle class, not working people without the means to afford the high costs to afford the high cost of living. The middle class and the smart Uber-rich are the people dpbeing driven from the former Golden State.
