Very limited... after WW2 we closed three bases and part of our AF base... we now monitor space from that base and run drone missions... we need a large enough footprint to discourage China and Russia from clogging up the Arctic because eventually one or both will really take over Greenland.... then they are a stone's throw from our east coast....

Part of the pact is that you attack one member, you attack them all. So no, Russia or China will not be taking over Greenland any time soon for a multitude of reasons. Russia can't even beat Ukraine. China has the tyranny of distance.

NATO is a treaty.... China wants Greenland for its rare earth minerals both onshore and off... they would love to drill the waters too.... and they have a growing military and research vessel presence in the Arctic....
NATO members know we can't allow that to continue which is why the talks will continue and a resolution will happen... your TDS keeps you from seeing the truth of this very important national security issue... that is sick man... you need help...
