Kudos to the pilots for trying their best to avoid all that traffic.

Dude, they weren't trying to avoid traffic. They were trying to save their own asses. They could have planted it nose down in the woods and effected nobody. They were shooting for a road to see if they could live. I can promise hitting cars was not in their concern. I'm a pilot. Trust me on this, survival is the only thing in a pilots mind. They shot for the road because it was THEIR best chance at survival, not traffic's.

Yes, the pilots did the best any man could do, all things considered. He was almost able to get lined up perfectly with the road centerline, but not quite. RIP, and job well done. It will be interesting to see if they can ever find out why in hell he had a double engine flame out....
